Page Management
The Page Management tool is one of the basic functions available on our WebStudio. It can be found under the "Core Tools" section of the main menu to the left-hand side of the studio.
Page Listing
After you have selected the Page Management tool from the main menu, you will see a listing of the webpages that exist on your website. The listing will by default display a maximum of 50 webpages per page. To change the amount displayed per page, you can select a new value from the drop down list on the bottom right of the page.
You may choose to restrict the page listing based on the folder or filename. You can do this by using the "filter" option at the top right of the page.
Page Creation
To create a page, first select "Create" from the top left above the page listing. To create a page you will only need to assign a filename. It is important to remember to select a unique page filename. The filename can include letters, numbers, and the underscore "_" symbol. It can also include one period before a file extension (such as .html, .vesh, or .page).
Note: It is important to not use extensions that are commonly used for other types of files (such as .jpg which is commonly used for images) as it may lead to file serving issues and/or confusion for site visitors.
Note: All files should have an extension. Failing to add an extension, or removing an existing one, may result in errors or bugs in the content of your website.
You can also set a folder(s) value. This value can consist of letters, numbers, and the "/" symbol to indicate a folder.
Note: When accessing your main site via the web, the default file in a folder with no file given is index.vesh. For example the file www.sitename.com/foobar/index.vesh can also be accessed at www.sitename.com/foobar (on sites with a customized setup this may be different).
Page Editing
When you are on the Page Listing you can find the Page Edit option to the right of each page row. Select the "Edit" option for the page you wish to modify. After you have finished editing the information desired, click "Ok" to save and return to the Page Listing.

Along the top of the page you will notice a series of tabs. Generally there will be various page parts available for you to enter content in. Different layouts will use different page parts, and most will not use all of the different parts offered. Please be aware of which parts you should be entering content into. If you have questions regarding this you can contact one of our help agents and we will be happy to instruct you on this.
You can change the layout of your page from the "Layout" tab. If you wish to restrict access to certain pages you can change their workgroup. Additional options are availble under the various tabs.
Page Deletion
When you are on the Page Listing you can find the Page Deletion option to the right of each page row. Select the "Delete" option for the page you wish to remove, or select the checkboxes to the left of all the pages you wish to remove and select the "Delete Selected" option at the bottom left of the page. Follow the prompts to remove these files.
Removed files are not necessarily removed perminantly. Most files can temporarily be restored from backups depending on the security packages you selected. Generally there are fees for this proceedure.
